Wetted Materials: 304SS Measurement Range (Volume %): 0.1% to 50%. Accuracy: (To obtain the specified accuracies, take the average of three samples.) At low limit of 0.1%, actual air content may be between 0.075 and 0.125%. At 10% air, actual air content may be between 9.9 and 10.1%. At high limit of 50%, actual air content may be between 49 and 51%. In general, Error = +/-( 0.025 + 0.00975 * Air) Calibration: The tester is calibrated by running samples of 0% air (for example water with no entrained air). The microprocessor automatically calculates the calibration constant. Seals: Buna Rubber Weight: 7 lbs (3.2 kg) Batteries: Three 9-volt, life 8-12 hours of continuous operation Operating Limits: Media Isolation: Cylindrical portion of the tester is compatible with fluids not corrosive to 304 SS, provided that the vent line is not exposed to corrosive fluids. The electronics enclosure is not environmentally isolated, and may not survive fluid spaying, submergence, or exposure to corrosive gases. The QuickAir must be stored in a clean, dry area when not in use. Temperature: Cylinder portion of tester is limited to operation between 32 and 200 F. Operation above 120 F may require re-zeroing of pressure transducer due to temperature effect on the pressure transducer zero. The electronics may be stored at temperatures between 32 and 150 F, and may be operated at ambient temperatures between 40 and 110 F. Pressure: The tester is designed to obtain samples at atmospheric pressure. During testing, the normal maximum pressure is approximately 60 psig (4 bar gauge). The pressure transducer is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 100 psig (6.8 bar gauge). It will remain linear to an overpressure of 200 psig (13.8 bar gauge), and will fail at 400 psig (27.2 bar gauge). |
